A little bit ABOUT ME
I loved homeschooling most of my nine children, flowers, and writing weekly parenting columns. That is, until the day my world shattered when my youngest son was killed in a tragic car accident. After years of deep grief, rather than allowing life’s circumstances to define the course of my life, I chose to allow them to refine my soul by mastering the art of harnessing the storm. As a mother and a grandmother of a growing population of towheads, I write from the front lines of the culture war on their behalf. As a recovering political junkie, I restore my barefoot soul writing tucked in the hills of Tennessee, among wild flowers and muddy paw prints.
